This page explains what cookies and similar technologies are used when you visit cuban-portal.com, who sets them, what they are for and how you can change your mind at any moment. It complements our privacy policy, which covers personal data more broadly.
The short version: the site itself sets almost nothing. Beyond what is strictly necessary to run it, the only thing stored is Google Analytics measurement, and that waits for your consent before it runs. There is no advertising on this site and no advertising cookies.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that the next request can be recognised as coming from the same browser. Related technologies do the same job by other means: local storage keeps values inside the browser itself, and pixels or tags let a server register that a page was loaded.
Throughout this page we use "cookie" to mean all of them, because what matters is not the technical mechanism but what is stored, by whom and for how long.
Your choices, and how to change them
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you allow analytics measurement. Accepting and rejecting are equally available, and nothing is measured with identifiers until you accept. Your answer is stored in your browser (as cp_consent in local storage) so you are not asked again on every page.
You can change that answer whenever you want: "Cookie settings" at the foot of the site reopens the same banner. Withdrawing consent stops future processing; it does not undo what happened while consent was in place.
You can also act from the browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, either globally or per site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies is possible but will break parts of the site — signing in, in particular.

Advertising
There is none. CubanPortal runs no advertising network, no ad tags and no advertising cookies. The Consent Mode signals for advertising storage, advertising personalisation and advertising user data are set to denied for every visitor, always.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people actually read, where visitors arrive from and which parts of the site fail. It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2 and starts in denied mode: until you consent, no analytics identifiers are written.
We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles, and we do not upload customer lists or contact details to it.
What we never do
Two commitments that are easier to state than to infer from a cookie table.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your contact details with advertisers.
- We do not use cookies to track you across unrelated websites for our own purposes.
- We do not run advertising of any kind on this site.
Third-party content
Some pages embed Google Maps to show where a property is. Loading a map involves a request to Google, which may set cookies of its own under its policies. If you never open a map, that request is never made.
Changes and contact
Providers change, and so do their identifiers. When something material changes here we update this page and the date at the top of it.
